Community Development Fund Grant
Chard Town Council is committed to supporting and strengthening community participation, activities and events, and helping to develop a sustainable welcoming community. The Community Development Fund aims to provide voluntary and community groups with a funding opportunity to support the delivery of projects and activities that benefit the local community.
Applications will be considered for 75% of the total project/activity cost up to a maximum of £1,000. The Grant may be used to match other funders’ contributions.
Chard Town Council will consider applications for funding at meetings of the Finance and Audit Committee and the deadline for applications will be 5 weeks in advance of those meetings. Dates for this financial year are shown below.

Applicants may be asked to attend a meeting prior to the Committee meeting to present their application to a small number of councillors.
