Chard Carnival was revived in 1967 and is now in its 50th year. The carnival takes place on the 2nd Saturday in October each year – We also hold a Children’s Carnival on the 1st Saturday in October each year plus other events throughout the year. To date, we have raised over £100,000 for local charities and organisations. Please see website for more information.
