Deputy Mayor’s New Arrival

Chard Town Council is please to announce the safe arrival of Bronte, Hope Rene Brown.
Bronte was born 7th February 2023
Bronte is the second child of Deputy Mayor Claire Brown and her husband Trent.
Claire has worked right up until the birth and will be taking a couple of weeks off before returning to her duties as Councillor and Deputy Mayor.
Mayor of Chard Jenny Kenton said:
I believe this could be the first time in Chard’s history that a baby has been born to a serving Mayor or Deputy mayor.
