As part of the Chard regeneration works we are proposing a temporary closure of the Boden Street public car park.
The closure is scheduled to start on November 16th and last for up to six weeks.
The closure of the car park will allow a new drainage system to be installed, the redundant public toilet block to be demolished and the car park extension to be constructed.
It is regrettable that the timing of the closure falls in the run up to Christmas, however we will offer existing season ticket holders an alternative parking space at the Lace Mill car park.
Other users will be directed to the Crowshute and Bath Street car parks where spare capacity exists.
A pedestrian link will be maintained for the residents of Holly Terrace who have rights of access over the car park.
